Once you receive your physical Visa Infinite credit card, you can activate and create a 6-digit PIN via one of the following options:

Step 1: SMS to 66600 using the mobile number registered with the bank. - Type ACT <space> new Malaysian NRIC no. <space> last 6 digits of card no. <space> card expiry date in MMYY (e.g. ACT 830101140806 884266 0828)

Step 2: A temporary 6-digit PIN will be sent to your mobile no. upon successful activation. Please change the temporary 6-digit PIN at any Hong Leong Bank ATM.
 

Important Note:

-Please ensure that the principal Visa Infinite credit card has been activated prior to activating the supplementary Visa Infinite credit card.

- Your old Emirates credit card will be deactivated upon successful activation of your new Visa Infinite credit card. All account information will be transferred to your new Visa Infinite card upon activation.

You are required to change the 6-digit PIN upon receiving the temporary PIN. You can create using the same 6-digit PIN or change to a new 6-digit PIN for your Visa Infinite credit card.

Please note, you must never disclose or keep a written record of your PIN to protect against fraud when cards are lost or stolen. You must also ensure that no one is looking when you are entering your 6-digit PIN.

To prevent unauthorised card usage in the event your card is lost or stolen, your 6-digit PIN must be designed to reduce the chance of anybody guessing it.

Please avoid:

- birth dates, months or years in any form or combination;

- sequential numbers (such as 345678) and easily identifiable number combinations (such as 111111);

- any of the blocks of numbers printed on your card;

- other easily accessible personal numbers such as parts of personal telephone numbers, identity card number, or other personal data.

Yes! You can use your new Visa Infinite credit card to perform retail transactions immediately upon successful activation and 6-digit PIN creation. Please note that online transactions can only be performed the day after the card activation.

Don't forget to transfer over your existing auto-billings (e.g. AIA, Allianz, Hong Leong Assurance, Maxis, Digi, Tenaga National Berhad (TNB), Unifi, etc.) and update your Visa Infinite credit card details at your favourite online store and e-wallets (e.g. Grab, Touch n Go, Boost, Shopee, Lazada, Netflix, Disney+, etc.).

Your old Emirates credit card will be deactivated once you have activated your new Visa Infinite credit card. All outstanding balance from your old Emirates credit card will be transferred to your new Visa Infinite credit card. Please cut up and dispose of your old Emirates credit card accordingly.

Once you have activated your Visa Infinite credit card, you can no longer use your Emirates credit card and it will be removed from your Hong Leong Connect.

Yes. If you have a supplementary Emirates credit card, you will receive your new Visa Infinite supplementary credit card together with your principal card.
