Windfall For Five Lucky Hong Leong Personal Loan New Customers

Kuala Lumpur, 10 December 2007 - Hong Leong Bank (HLB) today announced the winners of the Hong Leong Personal Loan 'Win Free Money Contest'. Five lucky Hong Leong Personal Loan customers stand a chance to win up to RM50,000 each in the 'Win Free Money Contest' from 1 July to 30 September. The contest was open to all new Hong Leong Personal Loan customers. Entry to the Contest was automatic and electronically tracked upon approval and disbursement of loan. Selected customers were then required to answer 3 questions to win the prize.

"To be selected among so many people is truly unbelievable" said Mohamad bin Bakron from Johor Bahru who won RM10,000." Mohamad applied for Hong Leong Personal Loan in August for home renovation.

"Thank you Hong Leong Bank. I am very happy," said Chong Kok Siong from Kuala Lumpur who won RM15,000.

Other winners were Law Tian Huat, Manord a/l Eh Niak and Koay Kah Seng.

The prize money won is the amount equivalent to the winner's loan amount. Total prize money given away was RM45,000.
