DISBURSEMENT OF CASH REBATES FOR PRIVATE VEHICLE OWNERS VIA POS ONLINE

IMPLEMENTATION

For private eligible vehicle owners who have bought or renewed their Road Tax with the effective date from 1 April 2008 until 31 March 2009:

They can start to claim the subsidy through PosOnline www.posonline.com.my starting from 1st August (Friday) onwards.

ELIGIBILITY

The criteria for eligibility are as follows:

  • Malaysian citizen who is the private registered owner of vehicles
  • Vehicle owners who had their road tax renewed and with effective date from 1st April, 2008 till 31st March 2009
  • Vehicles that run on petrol or diesel
  • Limited to a maximum of 5 vehicles per owner depending on the vehicle types and engine capacity

MODE OF PAYMENT

The eligible private vehicle owners shall receive their rebates in the form of :

  • Money Order (receive within seven(7) working days)
  • Transfer to owner bank's account (paid within three(3) working days)

PROCEDURES

The private vehicle owners are required to:

  • Log in with your Username and Password.
  • Go to Cash Rebate Online and click on Cash Rebate.
  • Key in your Car Registration No and other information required
  • Select Mode of Payment either Money Order or Bank Account from the list then click “Next”
  • Fill in the necessary information and click ‘Next'.
  • Verify the information shown on the next screen, click ‘Confirm'.
  • The status and details of your transaction will appear. Print the receipt for your future reference.
