May 12th, 2010 - Hong Leong Bank Vietnam launches Hong Leong ATM Card and ATM services, which marks a milestone in its first year on business in Viet Nam. The Hong Leong ATM Card promisingly provides a convenient and secure transaction channel to customers.

At Hong Leong Bank Vietnam, customers can have their cards issued within only 5 minutes thanks to simple procedures. Hong Leong ATM Card holder can flexibly withdraw cash in Vietnam Dong from 14 different accounts (of 7 currencies including VND, USD, SGD, AUD, EUR, GBP, JPY).

Hong Leong ATM Cardholders can choose to withdraw up to VND 3 million each time, instead of VND 2 million offered by most of current ATM services, and can withdraw maximum VND 15 million/day and 5 times/day. Customers can also withdraw all the money from their accounts. Cardholders can do unlimited money transfer (in Vietnam Dong) between his/her accounts opened at Hong Leong Bank. Two different Hong Leong ATM Cardholders can transfer to each other with a maximum amount of VND 15 million per card per day and maximum 5 times per card per day.

In particular, Hong Leong ATM Cardholders will create their Personal Identification Number (PIN) on their own by entering PIN through PIN Pad right at the card-issuing moment, rather than receiving the first PIN provided by banks as the current practice. Then, cardholders will change their PIN one more time at the ATM before making other transaction. This is a differentiation of the Hong Leong ATM Card which helps increase the security level for cardholders' transactions.

Additionally, dispensed Hong Leong ATM card and cash will be kept in the ATM if not taken out within 60 seconds and 20 seconds respectively. Cardholders can do balance inquiry, mini-statement (for the latest 10 transactions) and choose to have transaction receipts printed if needed. Customers can also request Current Account Statement through ATM rather than coming to the bank.

Notably, when applying for Hong Leong ATM Card, customers will be waived of card issuance fee, annual fee, and enjoy many free-of-charge services for balance transfer, cash withdrawal from both VND and foreign currency accounts, (mini) statement...

At the moment, Hong Leong ATM Cardholders can do transactions at 3 ATMs located at: Hong Leong Bank Vietnam - Ground Floor, Centec Tower, 72-74 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Dist. 3, Ho Chi Minh City.

In the coming months, Hong Leong Bank plans to expand its transaction network and join in the domestic switching systems to continuously create added value and convenience for its customers.
