STATEMENT ON PHISHING AND FRAUDULENT EMAIL

Hong Leong Bank Berhad, Hong Kong Branch (“HLBHK”) would like to alert customers to a fraudulent email currently in circulation bearing the address ‘info@hongleong-hk.com’, instructing recipients to attend a meeting in relation to an Inheritance Claims document.
Customers who have responded to the email by providing sensitive customer information to the scam concerned and/or has conducted any financial transactions through the scam are advised to report this matter immediately to the Police or the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) of the Hong Kong Police Force.
