Hong Leong Bank expands branch network to reach out to local community

Hong Leong Bank Berhad (HLB), the banking arm of Hong Leong Credit Berhad will be opening its 17th branch in Penang at Tesco and 24th branch in Johor tomorrow, 28th January 2005.
Both branches are full service branches where self-service terminals and separate sales area are provided for customer’s convenience. Both branches offer a wide range of products and services such as housing loans, car loans, unit trust, credit cards, bancassurance and Islamic banking products. In addition, the branches provide extended business hours up to 7.00 pm daily at the Personal Financial Centre where customers are able to inquire on the Bank’s products and services.
Since July 2004, the beginning of its new financial year, HLB has opened 8 branches in the Central Region i.e. in Damansara Perdana, Jalan Bukit Bintang, Bukit Rahman Putra, Taman Melawati, Sg Buloh New Village, Seri Kembangan, Jalan Tun Sambanthan and Semenyih. With the opening of Tesco Penang and KIP Mart, Tampoi, HLB has increased its branch network to 191. This expansion reaffirms HLB’s long-term commitment in providing convenient financial services and facilities to the business community and the public patronizing the complex.
