BNM High Tech Facility – National Investment Aspirations (HTF-NIA)
We are pleased to announce our participation in the High-Tech Facility – National Investment Aspiration* (HTF-NIA) which offers financing to affected high tech and innovation-driven SME that are best aligned to strategic long-term development goals embedded in the National Investment Aspirations (NIAs). Support to theses SMEs is critical to strengthen Malaysia’s competitive positioning in the global value chains, preserve the supply chain ecosystem and safeguard high-skilled jobs.
*The National Investment Aspirations (NIAs) refer to overarching strategic developmental objectives to increase economic complexity, create high-value jobs, extend domestic industry linkages and develop new and existing clusters. Eligibility | Viable Malaysian SMEs* with at least 51% shares held by Malaysians in the following subsectors:
i) Electrical and Electronics (E&E); ii) Chemicals (including pharmaceuticals and refined petroleum); iii) Optical Scientific Equipment and Medical Equipment; iv) Machinery & Equipment (including Robotics, Drones, and Industry 4.0-related technologies); v) Transport equipment covering aerospace, vehicle and parts manufacturers involved in global supply chains or transitioning towards future mobility and green technology; vi) Information and Communication Technology (ICT); and vii) Research and Development (R&D) services
i) MDEC’s Global Acceleration and Innovation Network (GAIN); ii) MOSTI’s National Technology and Innovation Sandbox (NTIS) and Research and Development Fund; iii) MARii’s technology partners involved in the design and development of solutions related to IR4.0 technologies; iv) MIDA’s Domestic Investment Strategic Fund recipients engaged in R&D activities or licensing/purchasing of new technologies; and v) MIDA's i-services provider list comprising of SMEs involved in R&D, engineering, green technology services, system integration and ICT service

Purpose of Financing | For working capital and / or capital expenditure (CAPEX)
Financing is not allowed for refinancing of existing facility granted by HLB or other participating Banks. |

Note: The financing limit is inclusive of financing to SMEs with common shareholder(s) of ≥ 20% shareholding. The final approved financing limit is subject to BNM approval, credit assessments by the Bank and where applicable Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad (CGC). |
