You can download the new Connect App from Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Huawei App Gallery. Search for ‘HLB Mobile Banking App’.

Huawei phone users can download the new app from the Huawei App Gallery. If you are a Huawei phone users, you should download the app from Huawei App Gallery instead of from Google Play Store.

You can use the new Connect App on Apple iPads, but not on Android tablets.

To access the app, your smartphone must be running on iOS 8 and above or Android 4.1.2 and above. If you’re using a jailbroken or rooted smart phone, you won’t be able to access the app. 

To share your receipt after making a transaction, please click on Receipt button on the top right of your transfer confirmation screen.

To download and share receipts of your past transactions, just follow these steps:

1. Tap on Menu > Tap on Activities

2. Tap on the “3 dots” beside the desired transaction, and tap on View Details.

3. Tap on Receipt button on the top right of the screen.

4. Select where you want to share or save the receipt on your phone.

  • Please ensure that the mobile number you are using is the one you have registered to receive your TAC from the bank, that you are within your telco provider’s network coverage and that your telco service is still active.
  • Click ‘Resend’ if you haven’t received your TAC.

If you are still not receiving your TAC, you may want to contact your telco provider.

Scan QR can only scan DuitNow QR code for now. You will not be able to scan other QR code using Scan QR.

  • You are only able to share a QR code without a pre-set amount. If you are unable to share your QR code without pre-set amount, please write to us.

  • Your QR code with a pre-set amount will expire after 1 minute and you can only show the code to be scanned within the 1 minute duration and will not be able to share it out.

Your Connect ATM withdrawal code will be shown on your final transaction screen after you click on ‘Withdraw Now’.

 

Missed you withdrawal code? Here’s how to retrieve it: log in > tap on Menu > tap on Activities > tap on the three dots on the right side of your Connect ATM Withdrawal transaction list > tap on View  Details

Once you’ve reset your Connect username, you need to delete and re-install the app before you log in using your new username. If you have Connect App on multiple devices, you will have to do the same for your other devices too.

Only one (1) Connect Account can be bound to a device with Connect App. If your account isn’t bound to the app / device, you will not be able to use that app to login using your username and password.

A Connect Account can only be bound to a Connect App in maximum five (5) devices. If you are unable to bind your Connect Account to a Connect App it is probably due to one of these reasons:

  • The Connect App in that device is already bound to another Connect Account. Here’s what you can do: Uninstall the app and then re-install it before you log in using your Connect username and password. Once you have logged in successfully, you may try to bind your Connect Account with the device.
  • Your Connect Account has already been bound to five (5) devices. Here’s what you can do: Log in to one of the five (5) devices that your Connect Account is already bound to and unbind from one of the devices before try to bind your Connect Account to the new device.

When you log in to Connect App for the first time, you will automatically be prompted to bind your account to the device. This will happen to up to five (5) devices.

 

If you wish to bind you Connect Account to a new device, you will have to first unbind from one of the five (5) devices. Please see the answer on how to unbind Connect Account from a device.

Here’s how to unbind your Connect Account from a device:

1. Log in to one of the five (5) devices.

2. Tap on Menu > App Settings > Devices & Notifications > tap on ‘Remove’ next to the device that you wish to unbind from.

Most features from the previous version of the Connect App have been made available on this app. However, features like Pay Mobile and Request Mobile will not be available on this app.

Your account details can be accessed by tapping on the individual account box. To access your transaction history for the respective account, simply tap on the Transactions tab.

It’s easy, once you’ve logged in to the app, you can swipe left and right to view all your account details e.g. Current / Savings Account, Credit Card, Fixed Deposit, Loan, and other accounts that you have with the bank.

What’s even better, on this app you can hide or reveal your account balances using a toggle button.

To view your account details simply tap on the individual account box.

To access your transaction history for the respective account, simply tap on the Transactions tab.

When this happens, just log out from the app and then log back in. You should be able to view your updated account balance. This is usually caused by your device language setting, where certain languages display numbers in this format. To fix this, you should set your device language to English (UK or US). 

To change your preferred language, tap on ‘Language’ at pre-login screen.

If you are already logged in simply tap on Menu > App Settings  > Language

To view your banking activities on the app, simply tap on Menu > Activities

Your banking activities will be displayed in timeline format, organized by month.

If you wish to view a specific type of activities, tap on ‘Search’ and select the activity types, followed by Transaction Type and Status from the drop down menu.

1. Once logged in, simply tap on Menu > Account Settings & Limits > Transaction Limits.

2. Select from the list of transaction you wish to change by tapping on the  sign.

Enter the new limit and proceed. You will need to enter TAC to authenticate this change of limit.

To update your DuitNow ID, simply tap on Menu > Account Settings & Limits > Manage DuitNow ID.

Once logged in, simply tap on Menu > Add / Delete Favourites.

You can add or delete favourite DuitNow Mobile / IDs, accounts, billers or prepaid reload number here.

You can apply for the following products / services via HLB Connect App:

  • Flexi Payment Plan (if you are an existing HLB cardholder)
  • Call-for-Cash-Plus (if you are an existing HLB cardholder)
  • Permanent Increase in Credit limit (if you are an existing HLB cardholder)
  • Temporary Increase in Credit limit (if you are an existing HLB cardholder)
