Important Notice: Discontinuation of selected HLB Credit Cards effective 1 September 2020
As part of the bank’s measures to better serve our customers, we hereby announce that the following HLB Credit Cards will be discontinued and can no longer be used with effect from 1 September 2020:
- Mach Gold Credit Card
- Mach Signature Credit Card
We will also notify the respective cardholders via SMS, emails and notification via Hong Leong Connect.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: What will happen to my existing credit card starting 1 September 2020?
A: Your existing credit card will be discontinued and can no longer be used with effect from 1 September 2020.
Q: Will I still receive the cashback/points/miles (whichever is relevant) on my existing card on the transactions I performed till 31 August 2020?
A: You will receive the cashback/points/miles (whichever is relevant) on the transactions posted by 31 August 2020. The cashback/points/miles will be credited to you by 31 October 2020.
Q: Can I redeem the points accumulated in my in existing card, if any, from 1 September 2020 onwards?
A: You will not be able to redeem the points from 1 September 2020 onwards. Please redeem your points before 1 September 2020.
Q: What will happen if I am unable to settle all outstanding balance by 1 September 2020?
A: Your account will still be active until you fully settle the outstanding balance but you cannot use your existing card effective 1 September 2020.
Q: What will happen to the existing/active Installment Plan(s) I have?
A: Your Installment Plan(s) will still be active until you fully settle the outstanding balance but you cannot use your existing card effective 1 September 2020.
Q: Will the Direct Debit and/or Auto-Billing which I have enrolled previously still be valid?
A: Your existing Direct Debit and/or Auto-Billing, which you have enrolled on your existing card, will not be valid effective 1 September 2020. You would need to re-enrol your Direct Debit and/or Auto-Billing to your other HLB credit card as soon as possible to avoid payment interruptions.
Q: What will happen to the existing Standing Instruction (payment from Saving/Current Account to credit card) I have?
A: Your Standing Instruction will still be active until you fully settle the outstanding balance.
