In recognition of its high quality funds transfer operations
Hong Leong Bank (HLB) received the coveted 2006 JPMorgan Chase MT202 Elite Quality Recognition Award in recognition of itscommitment to quality and consistent high performance and standards in the area of funds transfer operations management. Elite awards are given inrecognition of the highest level of performance.
The review undertaken in 2006 showed that HLB had clearly excelled in meeting its operating challenges and exceeded the stringent criteria for the "MT202Elite Quality Recognition Award" with a 99.7 percent straight-through processing (STP) rate for its funds transfer operations management. The achievementis even more astounding given that less than 1% of JP Morgan’s total fund transfer clients are able to meet the criteria to qualify for the award.
"At Hong Leong Bank we recognise that the quality of our services is the key differentiator to the industry,” said Yvonne Chia, Group Managing Director ofHLB. “It is gratifying to see our efforts being appreciated by industry leaders and our valued clients in this way. We will continue to step up ourcapabilities, aspiring to be the ‘best in class’ for operations efficiency, as we power ahead to extend our lead in this sector," she added.
JPMorgan Chase Bank has been awarding Institutions and Corporates with the "Quality Recognition Award" since 1997. The award is given each year following acontinual review process designed to identify and reward companies that have demonstrated their ability to meet the stringent criteria.
