KUALA LUMPUR, 5 September 2012 - Hong Leong Islamic Bank ("HLISB") today announced its appointment by Lembaga Tabung Haji ("TH") as a deposits collection agent. The collection of the deposits is offered via two modes - salary deduction and standing instruction (SI).
"We are proud to announce that HLISB is the first bank in Malaysia to provide the convenience of TH deposits via salary deduction to our payroll customers for their own TH deposit accounts. The deposits will form part of the deductions automatically made from the employees' salary," said Raja Teh Maimunah, Chief <

She added that HLISB's Muslim customers can also make periodic deposits to their TH accounts by executing a hassle-free standing instruction with only one form submission required.
"Customers can also make these deposits for their family members. All these services are offered at a minimal fee as we wish to make it convenient for customers to fulfill their religious obligations, in line with our mission to be a community-centred bank," Raja Teh Maimunah said.
With the SI, customers are given the flexibility to choose their preferred date and frequency for the deposits including weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually.
