Hong Leong Bank Berhad, one of the fastest growing banks in Malaysia, today teamed up with Balai Ikhtisas Malaysia (BIM) and Kurnia Insurans (M) Berhad (KIMB) to issue a co-brand “Hong Leong Bank – BIM The Professionals” MasterCard Credit Card.
According to Chief Operating Officer, Personal Financial Services of Hong Leong Bank, Mr. Peter England, “this tie up is aimed at building a long-term relationship between HLB, KIMB and BIM and at the same time, reach out to some 90,000 professional members of BIM. As the credit card provider, we are certain that with our large network of more than 180 branches, we will be able to provide BIM members convenience, service and value.”
Hong Leong Bank will be the official and preferred card payment provider in this tie-up. Some of the immediate benefits of the package are an up-front 2 years fee waiver with a free Hong Leong Touch N Go Zing card, and offer of 1.5 times bonus points for each dollar spent.
Hong Leong Bank will also offer a 6-month interest free Flexi Payment Plan on KIMB’s insurance products for both principal and supplementary cardholders.
Additionally, Hong Leong Bank will offer a pre-approved Housing Loan financing package up to 80% of the purchase price, with no stamp duty and processing fee, and a pre-approved vehicle purchase financing of up to 90% of the purchase price. These applications will be processed with minimal documents and comes with an automatic 30,000 bonus points credited to the card account upon disbursement of each loan.
BIM is one of the largest NGO consisting of twenty professional bodies to serve the interest of all the 90,000 professionals members in Malaysia.
