Hong Leong Bank (HLB) and the Selangor State Government have forged an alliance to offer Internet services to HLB customers to make online bill payments.
With this partnership, HLB customers will be able to pay their quit rent without having to do it physically at the Selangor State Government's offices.
Targeted to be effective end of September 2006, HLB account holders will be able to make such online payments to the Selangor State Government through direct funds transfer from their HLB savings or current account. To do this, they will just need to log on directly to HongLeong Online at www.hlb.com.my
"The alliance with the Selangor State Government is part of Hong Leong Bank's ongoing emphasis on alternative delivery channels to provide convenience and value innovation to its customers," says Victor Khor, Chief Operating Officer of Transaction & e-Banking Division, Hong Leong Bank, at the signing of the agreement with the Selangor State Government on 24 June 2006.
