Access to the full HLB Connect experience is only possible from mobile phones running on these minimum OS versions:
and above for Apple mobile phone
and above for Android/Huawei mobile phone
If your mobile phone is currently running on iOS 15 or Android OS 10, your access will be automatically switched to HLB Connect Lite mode to protect your accounts.
How to regain the full HLB Connect experience:
Simply log in to the HLB Connect App from a device running on iOS 16 / Android OS 13 (or higher). We highly recommend updating your phone to the latest available software version so your device remains supported and secure for longer.
What you can do on HLB Connect Lite Mode
Access
Use the same URL and HLB Connect App for both online and mobile banking.
Payments & Transfers
Limited to favourite recipients or billers. You can set up and authenticate your favourite recipients or billers at any HLB branch.
Pay/ Transfer Limit
Up to RM10,000 per transaction.
Prepaid Reload Limit
Up to RM200 per day (to favourite service providers only).
QR Payment Limit
Up to RM250 per day.
Fixed Deposits (FD)
Up to RM10,000 per placement; however, withdrawal can only be done at HLB branch.
For some mobile phones where update to higher OS is no longer possible, you will need to upgrade your mobile phone.
