Protection from Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) and death

Protection from Temporary Total Disability (TTD)
In the event you suffer from TTD, your premium for this plan will be waived during this period and the benefit payable under this plan will be used to pay 5% of your outstanding credit card balance on a monthly basis. This benefit will continue up to a maximum of 20 months provided that you are still suffering from TTD. A medical certificate and a medical report will have to be submitted on a monthly basis. (Please refer to the Benefit Limits section below for the applicable Benefit Limits.)
Additionally, if you suffer TPD or death occurs during the period when you are suffering from TTD, a lump sum payment equal to 20 times of the TTD benefit minus any TTD benefit received is payable under this plan which will be used to settle your outstanding credit card balance.
