  4. Write in to Hong Leong Bank Card Centre, P.O. Box 10385, 50768 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

 How much is the paper statement fee? Credit card paper statement fee is at RM1.00 per statement. Effective 1 February 2024, the fee will be revised to RM2.00.

 Can I request for exemption from the Paper Statement Fee?

You will be automatically exempted from the paper statement fee if you are aged 60 and above. If you have special needs and circumstances that require exemption, please call us at 03 7626 8899 or visit our branch.

I’m turning 60 this year. Is the exemption based on the year I was born or from my birth date?

It’s based on the year you were born. If your birthday falls in the month of November, you will be exempted from the fee from January of the year you turn 60.

 If the exemption request is successful, will the paper statement fee be exempted permanently?

Yes, it will be exempted permanently.
6 Is there an option to receive statement at no fee?

Yes. We encourage our customers to switch to electronic statements (e-Statement) at ZERO COST.

 

To stop receiving Paper Statements and enrol for e-Statement:

  1. Login to www.hongleongconnect.my  
  2. Go to STATEMENT/INVOICE > Email Subscription > Statement Subscription
  3. Tick Stop Hard Copy Statement on your card
  4. Tick Email Subscription > input your preferred email address.
  5. Accept the Terms and Condition > Submit

 

Alternatively, if you wish to stop receiving Paper Statements and e-Statement via email, you may download and view your e-Statements:

 

  1. Login to www.hongleongconnect.my
  2. Go to STATEMENT/INVOICE > Email Subscription > Statement Subscription
  3. Tick Stop Hard Copy Statement on your card
  4. Accept the Terms and Condition > Submit
  5. Go to STATEMENT/INVOICE > Online Statement > Download Statement

 

You may also download your statement via HLB Connect App:

  1. Login and swipe to CREDIT CARD
  2. Select preferred card > Select TRANSACTIONS tab > select Statement icon
  3. Select Statement Type “E-Statement” > Select Statement Date > Download

I do not have access to Hong Leong Connect Online Banking / App. Can I still switch to e-Statements via email?

 

Yes. You may visit the nearest branch or call us to update your email address to receive e-Statement.

We encourage you to register as a Connect user for the convenience of managing your cards and other essential banking services.

 When will I start receiving my e-Statement via email, if I enrol now? You will receive your first e-Statement via your registered email address starting from your next statement date.

 I currently receive multiple paper statements per month. Will I be charged more than once per month? Yes. RM1.00 will be charged monthly for each paper statement that is printed and delivered to you. Effective 1 February 2024, the fee will be revised to RM2.00.

 I currently receive multiple paper statements per month. Can I choose to receive only 1 paper statement rather than multiple? Yes. Please visit the nearest branch or call us to change your statements to 1 statement date so that you will only receive 1 statement per month.

I have a Supplementary Cardholder who meets the fee exemption criteria. Will I be charged for Paper Statement Fee?

 

Yes. The fee will only be exempted if the Principal Cardholder meets the exemption criteria.
12 Why is there no e-Statement in my email statement? For customers who are registered for Hong Leong Connect, the monthly email statement serves as a notification that e-Statement and is ready to be downloaded from Hong Leong Connect.
