Interbank Cash Withdrawal Fees to be Waived at Bank ATM and CRT
Machines Nationwide Effective 1 July 2026
Dear valued customers,
Effective 1 July 2026, Hong Leong Bank and HLB Islamic (“HLB” or “the Bank”) will waive the RM1 interbank cash withdrawal fee at all HLB Automated Teller Machines (“ATM”) and Cash Recycler Terminals (“CRT”) nationwide.
As part of a Malaysian industry-wide initiative to make everyday banking more affordable and accessible, all Malaysian debit cardholders can now withdraw cash from any bank-operated ATM or CRT without fees, regardless of the issuing bank. Please note that standard withdrawal fees will still apply to ATMs operated by non-bank, third-party providers.
For access to real-time payments, we encourage customers to continue using digital banking services, card payments and DuitNow QR for their daily transactions.
