Notice: Goodwill Discount for Early Settlement

Dear Valued Customers,

Effective 1 June 2026, Hong Leong Bank and HLB Islamic will offer goodwill discounts to eligible customers who choose to pay off their existing Rule of 78 fixed-rate hire purchase financing early. This ensures any outstanding balance upon early settlement is comparable to what it would have been utilizing the new reducing balance method.

Eligibility

Individuals and micro/small businesses with a consistent payment history and agreements signed before 1 June 2026 (or during our transition through 31 March 2027).

Upon early settlement, simply fill out our [e-Refund Authorisation Form] to receive your goodwill discount directly into your nominated bank account.
